Cambridge AI Club – Large language models for biomedical data – April 2024

The AI Club brings together the Biomedical AI and Machine Learning community in Cambridge, to discuss common themes and explore different topics and methodologies.
April Theme:
Large language models for biomedical data
Speakers:
Andrew Green (EMBL-EBI)
“Levelling the playing field: using LLMs to bootstrap curation for ncRNA”
and
Kenza Bouzid (Microsoft Research)
“MAIRA-1: A specialised large multimodal for radiology report generation”
Presentations start at 5:30pm, followed by networking and pizza at 6:30pm.
